This picture...

...fits the way my life has been lately. It probably doesn't make for exciting reading, but I am not in an angsty place. In fact, life is really good. My brain is working over-time (actually, so am I), but in terms of where I am in life, I've never been more at peace. Hopefully, this doesn't jinx me.
I've been in Summit now for two months and I don't yet want to leave. I even still like my job. I get hate mail and fan mail, and four sad people who blog about "illegal lovers" on the Summit Daily website know my name (and probably a lot more about me than I'd like to know). I worry a lot about the future of this country when I hear the hate-filled rhetoric about immigrants and see how uninformed people really are (it doesn't take much to Google, people). I'm glad I have a couple police chiefs as my staunch allies. But in the end, I feel like I'm where I am supposed to be, doing what I should be doing. Outside of work, life is also really amazing. I'm meeting great people, staying really involved in the community, singing a lot. According to my horoscope, "Dear Aquarius, it is clear that better days are due!" Of course, it also says that I'll have a lucrative turn in my career, which, ummm, yeah. Who believes that crap anyway?? :)
Here are some links to blogs and distractions, word games, music, and pinko commie stuff mainly (or illegal lovers, if you prefer that terminology). More soon. Love H

I miss you and want to know more about your life. I promise to share too. I love you sweet lady friend.

Great rainbow photo! It practically takes you right to the pot of gold. Can I have a gps coordinate?

Any chance I could post that photo in my "water" journal? I'll give you a photo credit if you do.

Take Care, Bob
